long nights in Hastings

logline: Gohan, a small otherworldly figure arrives in a kitchen from a blank world, after reading a poem. She traverses the world of Vancouver, looking through her tiny eyes and coming to understand her surrounding all the while looking for the woman who inspired that poem.
the video poetry followed by a response documentary is 9:28 film based on a poem by Angela May named "single mother on Hastings". the approach taken for this video poetry is using 2D animation on top of live action footage. the animation is made by Sahil Sran and the character of Gohan is voiced by Tina Kardan.
